Default advice on battery size for trolling motor

just bought a motorguide sw82 great white 24v trolling motor and need to get 2 batteries and an onboard battery charger for it so what are your recommendations that I should get for it?

im not as much wanting the brand name of a battery because im pretty sure i will get the walmart everstart.

im more interested about your recommendations for the size of it that I should get, im told they have different sizes of marine trolling motor batteries.

as to the 2 bank onboard battery chargers I definitely do want to get your brand name and size recommendations for that

27 series deep cycle batteries would be fine, I have tried the 31 series just a waste of money. As far as onboard battery charger the Dual Pro brand in 10 amp per bank or the 15 amp per bank is the best I have used. I have also used the Minn Kota onboard charger with no issues.

Love this thing. Specially designed for trolling motors. Runs like a beast. Picked it up at Wally world

thanks guys, that's great info.

I have one old 27 series battery now so i'll get another one to match it since specknation hasn't found the larger ones to be worth the extra money. I guess they are more important or more necessary for the larger sized motors.
