Default Fox on the property

For some time now I've suspected a den of fox on my property......and three years ago I saw them, then the property flooded and I thought they had moved.

Well today Quaid, my retriever jumped a big red fox with a white tipped tail.

Think he is the only one?
will this be a problem for my puppy or grandchild....??

Would you take him out and mount the thing? He sure is purdy

Red fox are not vicious like yotes but they do carry rabies.

I don't think foxes eat anything too big, I wouldn't expect it trying to take down a young kid, now a really young puppy maybe. I could be wrong, I just thought they ate smaller things

Foxes tend to be pretty reclusive too, if I'm not mistaken. Don't see them very often, especially red foxes. With the eastward expansion of the coyote, red fox numbers declined. Pretty cool that you have one around. Good thing is, probably won't have much of a rodent problem. They are pretty rough on small mammal populations.
