Fished 4-7:30pm.
Caught 19, kept only 5.
Water was still a little high but a nice color.

My buddy Brent was killing them on a Yamamoto Senko. He pulled three good fish off of one submerged log. He won't use the off-brand types; says they don't fall right.
I've tried but can't catch a bass on a Senko to save my life, for some reason.
I was catching on various baits: fluke, buzzbait, U-Tail worms.
All he uses is a Senko.
It's just not my confidence bait.
I'd like to change that fact...

I'm stuck on speed craw and buzz baits. Caught all mine on buzz baits Friday. Biggest was 16.75" and fat.

How'd you do?
I'm probably going out there around 1:00 on Wednesday. Can't wait.

I've never caught a fish on a jig.
I'm gonna work on that and make it a priority.
Guess I need to work on my Senko technique, too.
