Default 2016 STAR winners

http://www.ccastar.com/index.php/current-leaderboard-57

Saw we got one of the sc family won a boat. Anyone else?

Noticed a couple things

1. the boats they give away got smaller

2. the first week someone ALWAYS catches a tagged red in grand isle

3. never catch any the last few weeks or any from previous years(tags fall off?)

4. t-coon must not have entered (maybe he won too many boats and got disqualified?)

There's no polygraph? or is it only if there is a questionable situation?

Supposedly random. But I know for a fact a guy won in flounder division a few years back with a flounder caught in private marsh. He was reported, and questioned early in the season. Then, no polygraph. I could win every year in there. Nothing to catch a 6+ in there.

I caught a 6.98 trout 3 years ago and would have won southwestern division. bought a ticket after and since then every year and you can bet excluding this year a week or 2 after its over I'll hang a 6+... one day Maybe I'll catch a hawg during the tourney!

As y'all know I am no fan of CCA or their STAR tourney.

But most of the complaining seems more like sour grapes and gossip and hearsay rather than genuine evidence of cheating or probable cause for CCA to spend a bunch of money on polygraphs.

If a law was broken, have the game warden investigate and issue a citation. If a citation is issued regarding a tournament winning fish (or current leader) then CCA has something solid to work with and should investigate further.

But if the game warden won't give your rumor, innuendo, and hear say the time of day (because you have no evidence), then why should CCA?

CCA lines their pockets with too much money to worry about the common angler cheating in a tournament. They spend maybe 5% on what they bring in every summer? They ain't worried a bit.

Not gossip, hear say and no sour grapes. But, it pisses me off to see someone steal a boat from a legitimate winner. I know the guy, I know exactly where the flounder was caught and the date. This was reported with coordinates to CCA. Afterwards, they called the guy, questioned him and said OK. No polygraph.
