Had what I thought was a pretty good day. Best 5 probably went 20-22 lbs. Let an 8 and a 5 go and kept 5 solid keepers. My FIL called me that night to inform me that their best five went just shy of 31 lbs..
I didn't get many bites at all, but I really wasn't fishing for a lot of bites. It was hard to do l, but I made myself leave the fairy wands in the box and fish for quality bites. Flipping, punching grass, swim baits, and deeper cranking.
