Let that sink in.

Time for the states to regulate their own fishery.

It has been time for the states to manage the fisheries.

With the weather coming this weekend I will not be able to make a trip during Fed season. Guess I will have to resort to filet and release again.

The thing that pisses me off the most is that all of this bull**** is political and about the money. Problem is the sellers of commercial seafood are making the money to keep pockets lined.

We better watch out they will be coming for grouper, redfish, and tilefish next getting these kind of prices.

I don't Know where you been but everything but tilefish has already been drastically attacked. Grouper Is more regulated then ever, red fish is very much regulated in Florida already. Who has the bigger pockets is what it will ball down to I feel sorry for my kids they won't be allowed to go out and keep any fish they catch.

You can't go catch your own but you can go buy it. How ironic.

Default did you write/email/call Melancon

I guess we can assume that all who are complaining did write/call/email Melancon to let him know how disappointed you are? If not, just know that complaining on a board like this does nothing to advance state control of red snapper, etc.

Cheers

And a special thanks to guys like Gunner who take the time (and expense) to attend these meetings and make their feelings known.
