I'm gonna wait a couple of weeks to go to avoid the opening weekend crowds. I was told they shocked it and had alot of fish, but the biggest was a little over 5 pounds, but that's hear say you know how rumors are.

I'm sure alot of what they stocked survived. Should be able to go and catch good numbers. I just love fishing that place.

Me to by far my favorite place to fish. It used to be the sabine impoundment i used to wear the bass out in there.

There was an article in the American mess a couple weeks ago! Like Duckgogetter said is what was in the article! I will have to make a trip there for sure! The bream were thick and big in there last year!

Warden that did shocking said they found nothing over 14". Most were 8 to 10".
