Hairout The HNIC's new Executive order

OK.. the Head uh.. Numbskull In Charge has snuck another fast one by the American people. frickin sneaky bastage!

Obama has issued an executive order, which does not require congressional consent, that will "establish a national policy to ensure the protection, maintenance and restoration of the health of ocean, coastal and Great Lakes ecosystems and resources, enhance the sustainability of ocean and coastal economies, preserve our maritime heritage, support sustainable uses and access, provide for adaptive management to enhance our understanding of and capacity to respond to climate change and ocean acidification, and coordinate our national security and foreign policy interests."

The Recreational Fishing Alliance issued a statement with a response from executive director Jim Donofrio. "Not only does this new National Ocean Council threaten to override our current federal fisheries management process, but it also threatens the integrity of our regional fishing councils and creates an overarching bureaucracy that could dismiss all input from stakeholders," Donofrio said. "Our current fisheries management process might need some adjustment, but this presidential decree just sets up such an incredible bureaucratic infrastructure that Americans could find it very hard to find opportunities to fish in the future, particularly in terms of coastal access."

According to Gordon Robertson, vice president of government affairs for the ASA, the executive order and the task force's report "are heavy with process and advisory committees, and we need to make sure the recreational fishing community is active in all of it."

I completely agree with Mr. Robertson.. if we dont get involved, big lake will be a bird sanctuary and we'll all be fishing private ponds and pay lakes!

more big gov't, more bureaucratic bs and the HNIC taking another freedom from us. when will that ignorant, worthless sob in the oval office stop?
