Default Annual Bruce Baugh trip

Just got back from an afternoon and morning wade trip with Capt. Bruce Baugh. Once again had an unbelievable trip. We set the bar pretty high on our last trip with Bruce...catching an 8,9 and 10lb trout, plus a full stringer of 3-5lb trout. We knew going to to this trip, there was no shot at catching fish like the first trip. Had a strong south wind, which limited our options but Bruce already had the plan mapped out. A short boat ride from the launch and we were in the water for the afternoon wade. First fish...just over 8 lbs! Then a handful of good stringer trout and couple reds. Next morning started also had strong winds, once again, Bruce put us on the big girls, he was convinced there is a double digit trout in this area. First hookup was a monster trout pulling drag.. I was sure this was the one...fought for several minutes being waiting for the fish to ease up...got her within 10 feet and saw the biggest trout I've ever laid eyes on...she made one last head shake...gone. I'll never know what she was, but could have been the double digit fish we were there for. Within seconds of this my buddy hooks up...8.5lb trout. That was the second 8lb fish of the trip. Fished a few more hours and landed some really nice fish, another one went over 6lbs, had somewhere around 25 total, all caught on topwater. Just another unbelievable trip with Bruce. If youve ever considered using a guide to put you on a potential fish of a lifetime, I highly recommend Capt. Bruce.
