Default 12.29.11 Big Lake - Thick Fog & No Tide

Hit the lake with McJared around 7:00am and we were treated to dense fog which made going slow. Stopped up north to wait it out until the fog cleared and once it did, I thought we were at the DMV - lines of boats everywhere. Fishing was slow, with very little tide movement but we managed to boat a few each drift. Got tired of the boats and traffic and left for a bit to try for something bigger and managed one just a bit under 5 lbs.

Ended with 20 trout and 3 flounder. 1/8oz and 1/16th oz jig heads were the ticket and they seemed to enjoy the Bubble Yum color. Stayed off the trolling motor and just made very long drifts. Water was up to 57 degrees at the end of the day.
