Echo trash talker is cheap and easiest call I've ever blown. I bought my brother in-law one for a beginner call and every time I blew it I liked it more. I know have one on my lanyard next to a hobo prime meat. YouTube kent Cullem best live duck caller in the world. He originally made echo calls then branched off on his own with hobos

Yep. Uncover that hole and it's pretty high pitched. Good as a teal call.

Thanks for all the input fellas. I'll probably go with the DR85 for now. Is the only place to get a Chien Caille in Gueydan? I would love to pick one up just for the heritage behind them.

If you order it custom and pick it up they will put your name on it, they make awesome gifts.

I have a prime meat it's a single reed

The ICU2 is a great double reed call which is amazingly versatile for a double reed!

Default Old Advice

My grandfather taught me how to call, but before he did he taught me when to call. He always said the first step is the most important. He would feed ducks after the season and make us sit in the blinds to learn the "duck talk".
