Default Fat Reds in Fearman Lake 11/2

WINDY says it all in the west side of V Bay yesterday but we still managed to catch some nice reds. The water in the bay was rough and muddy so we fished Fearman lake to dodge the wind. We caught 8 redfish in the grass with the high tide and only three were keepers. They bit anything from dead shrimp to live mullets. I had a blast yanking them out the grass. I can't wait until the wind dies down!

We thought the same about the flounders as we fished numerous cuts with no luck.

Very good. Been waiting for the west side to get going, the fall trout bite in that area can get as good as anywhere in the bay when the water clears up.

Go to google maps and do a search for intracoastal city. Due south you will see it on the map inside of redfish point. It is part of the paul rainey refuge, don't go in before legal sunrise and you gotta be out by legal sunset. Take your time and idle untill you learn the area it can get very shallow.

Shellman, I fished with your son in law a couple of weekends ago. We had a blast catching some nice sand trout at T Butte.
