Default Trim Motor

Trying to save a little money..... Anyone know how to take a trim motor off a boat? Its on a 200hp V6 Johnson ocean runner. I can get 3 bolts off..... Not sure if there is one more hidden...I'm at a loss. Any help ?

Can you take some pictures......closeups from several different angles?

I took mine off a few years ago. The pump is kind of interesting how it is made, almost no way the pump can fail.

You might have to create a tool to take out that 4th screw.

I was told by a mechanic they have to take the engine off to expose all 4 screws.

Good Luck.

There looks to be no way to get that 4th screw out without taking one side of the transom mount off

Im not a 100% sure, but you may have to take the motor off. It has been so long since I worked on a v6 johnson im not too sure. When I go back to work tomorrow I will look in a service manual, and I will let you know.
