Can't go wrong with either one. Only problem. From what I've heard is the weight of the sho causes water to come in the drain.

54+ mph in the frontier is stupid fast and if you have a light load. You can feel the rear of boat sliding from left to right which is pretty scary!!!
I got my boat up to 56-57 with a quarter of a tank. me and my 2 boys i have suzuki 175.

Why wouldn't you get a 200 zuke?

Correct not much top end differance...roughly 4 to 5 mph zuke 175 vs zuke 200

The 175 is a torque machine with the gearing and VVT feature

Believe the zuke 200 price is ~ $3000 more

So the 175 zuke and 200SHO are comparable in price and power?

No
200 sho will give more top end as expected
price of the 200 sho is quiet a bit more ~ $5000+

I'm just curious as to how it came down to choosing between these two in particular

About at 7 mph difference 61 mph. and $5000 dollars more. 61mph in a 2104 is ridiculous!

Come ride with me and see if 53-54 isn't fast enough and scary with the 175. On my 2104

If your going to pay 50k+ for a 2104 frontier, you might as well go with the black Jack with 250 SHO

most of are all these are all opinions. Get what u want!!!

However, the new 200HP inline-4 is only 4 pounds heavier than the 175HP.

I got the ipilot and love it! I don't have any regrets. The Ipilot and hds7 touch with structure scan was the only options I added

I'll get the power pole later. Didn't see any use for a jackplate either.

I don't know exactly but. I can go 60 miles cruising 35-40 mph 3500-4000rpm and only burn 10-12 gallon, which is a quarter of a tank of gas with the suzuki 175

A jack plate is well worth the money even if you go with a manual one. You can get a manual one for about 300-400 bucks.
