Hunted the lease in Grand Chenier Saturday. My hunting partner (wife) was ill so I went by myself, except for Velvet my dog who was sick for the first part of the season, but got a clean bill of health on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. She was a little rusty and still gaining her strength, so I sent her on simple retreives and she did fine. Ended up with 2-greys, 2-spoons, 1-Scaup & 1-BW teal. Will report on my mid week trip. Sorry the picture is not of good quality. My camera/phone is not taking very good pictures for some reason.
