Any advice for fishing the cocodrie area today??

Remember this time last year...... Bunch of reds at the islands , prolly a few trout in Boudreaux , it's been warmer than last year so maybe they are closer to the outside

Last weekend they were on the rocks on the west side of Boudreaux and Robinson. Fish them slow and under a cork. They still aren't biting on a retrieve.

And bring bug spray.

And back up bug spray.

didn't have a problem with the gnats with the gale for winds we were facing. didnt run very far but found DIRTY water everywhere we went. played with a few reds and tangled with foul hooked gator for bout an hour. of that hour, didnt know it was a gator for the first 45-50 minutes. ended up being in the 7 foot range

thanks for all the advice though guys
