Default Wading the lake

Can anyone tell me if there is any difference in wading the lake vs Galveston. Is it better in the winter like here? What is the prefered lure in winter? I mainly wade in the winter for the big girls here but want to try different area because I would like to start tourney fishing.

If you wade with. 2 Or more people do not spread a football field wide and try to block the whole bank.... I will drift through and crank up and drive back up though..... Fish tight...

I did not answer because I never fished Galveston. But most people wade here in the early spring for big fish. The baits Fool said are good.

It's much different..more and bigger fish!! Really it's no different. I fish with Texas guys during the winters and it's the same old thing. Just got to grind till you find them.
