Default Herds of Blackfin Tuna

I am working in Keathley Canyon, out getting a smoke this morning and the Blackfin or everywhere. Good chop out here and 3-4' seas, so I can only see 10-15 below surface but these guys are shallow and everywhere. I see yellowfin daily 50-70' but not in these numbers. If anyone dares to go out this far it would be worth it once the seas lay down. I have seen boats out here before. We are on the border with Sigsbee Escarpment. Quite a few floaters out here the last year and every hitch we see more and more fish. Good luck guys. Not allowed to fish on this vessel .

Cyp Point...not going as far as Red Hawk, but will try Auger and maybe Magnolia. Hopefully the radar will be a little less yellow and red tomorrow.
