I can say this about that redfishing ..... I consider myself a pretty good fisherman and every redifsh event I fished , catching reds is never the problem its finding those two perfect ones

Last two events we had two slot reds in the boats with In 10 cast .... But never the two logs you catch practicing

Tides change ,weather change ,water change and fishing pressure change

Like this year..before the event you could go to jetties and catch 200 reds all day on slot ,but day of event 35mph winds muddy water and so on
