Trailer guide on
I am thinking about putting guide ons on my trailer. I really don't need the guides as much as the light on top of the guides. The light would help me see the trailer when backing up after dark to load my boat. The problem is that I have an easy loader trailer which has a step in the back where the guide posts should be mounted. I really don't want to drill holes in the step. Does anyone have a suggestion?

maybe bolt a piece to the frame that runs out the very back of the trailer behind the step like a piece of c channel then bolt the guides to that?

silicone spray
don't kmow if you have done this , silicone spray with high solids works great . just don't unhook it on a slope , mine slid off before the trailer was in the water
