Default Hoping northwind blows long enough

Last few northwinds to blow down on johnson Bayou were not long enough to clear the surf. Hoping it clears by Thursday

Storms and strong wind yesterday kept the 1st 500yds very cloudy yesterday. I went yesterday evening and there is some bait coming up but couldn't get anything to bite. Friday morning should be the best time. Thursday should be good as well.

Winds suppose to switch back to the east and southeast late Thursday evening. Would have rather waited til Friday but looks like Thursday will be the day. Two days wasn't enough to clear it up the last few times but u never know unless u go. Looks like I'll be giving it a try thursday

I was planning on hitting the beaches from my boat on Friday morning. It'll be my first time running to them. Anything I need to be aware of? Sunken rock piles or anything?

I only ran by boat a few times myself. Last year almost to the date the guide boats were way up on the beach catching fish in very first troughs.

I'd like to wait til Friday but with the east and southeast winds due to return late Thursday I'm going to go in am. If for some reason it blows out the north longer than predictt and looks like it will be worth it I'll head back again Friday. I'm just hoping it's at least fishable

It's a 50/50 shot
It's on or not

I wish we had just one extra day of north winds but we don't so looks like Tommorrow is only shot

Windfinder app shows light winds Friday even though it's southerly. So should still be good.

Well went back to the jetties between holly beach and Johnson bayou and ride was way out water wasn't as pretty as eairler today prettiest water was from holly beach going back towards the ship channel. Incoming tide should push good water in if north wind holds up. Good luck in the morning

Water looks good but they did issue a swimming advisory due to high levels of flesh eating bacteria for little Florida beach.

Thx. Them warnings are well taken but have been doing it since I was a kid. I keep alcohol and other goodies in my first aid kit. And use them on the slightest scratch! Thx. On my way!!!
