Default Tied some flies

I have tied 6 of my very first flies over the last couple of days. This is my first time trying this so they are a little rough around the edges. I bought a kit and have been practicing since Friday. I made the popper this afternoon. I can't wait to get out there and try and catch some fish on my flies.

For me it did take patience, for the Legendary Lefty Kreh it takes about 1.5 minutes to tie them. The small spider looking one and the popper are my designs.

Yeah the crab pattern is the next one I am going to attempt. The crab is the whole reason I started tying.

Default My first crab pattern

Went and picked up the goods to make the merkin crab. Got home and tied this little bad boy. I am going to get better but I am really proud of how nice it turned out considering all the steps there is to making it.

One fly I really like that holds up well is the epoxy shrimp. Trout and reds love it and caught plenty bass and peacock bass in Miami on it as well
