Default GPS and lures

Any one out there recommend a good GPS for kayak fishing? Also, I ran into a gentleman named Austin and he was nice enough to give me a lure that he recommended for redfish. The name was marsh-something. Anyone know this brand?

Thanks,

Chris

Default Thanks!

Thanks for the help with the lures. I am still new to this sport!

I am still looking to see if anyone recommends a GPS for kayaks. I am not looking for anything super fancy just one that has some limited maps and can store way points. I would also like to find one that is waterproof and can float in a pinch.

BTW, Austin was extremely nice and recommended me to this forum.

Cheers,

C

a good gps would be a lowrance out and back $199 buy the upgrade maps for $99 last year's maps are cheaper and not much has changed, I would recommend a H2O but they stopped making it!

I love my Garmin 60cs and there are maps available for it.

Don't know if any are waterproof.

Check with Southshore, he can lead you in the right direction
