Default Cost of Non-Resident Fishing License

At the end of October I have a few friends from out of state coming to stay with me at a camp on Big Lake and fish for a few days.

What exactly do they need as far as a non-resident license goes. I'm not exactly sure after looking at the WLF website.

Does anyone know?

1 day $15 fresh and salt
3 day $60 fresh and salt
All year $90 fresh and salt

I usually just get a year long license. You come out cheaper in the end if you go fishing there more than once in a year.

This is the part that was confusing me. Do they have to buy the freshwater license also like residents or can they just buy the $30 license. From an earlier post someone said $90.00 so I assume they would have to buy the fish season and saltwater fish season....

Yep......anyone has to have a freshwater licence along with a saltwater licence to fish in saltwater.

Not sure what applies for a "Cane Pole" licence.

This got me thinkin'. Since I moved to Texas in 2000, I've spent $900 on fishing licenses! Ah well, fishin' with Dad is priceless.

You should have bought a Lifetime license before you left.
