Default Texaco cut in Big Lake

At low tide, can a bay boat make it through the Texaco Cut? I haven't tried for some time due to me bottoming out the last time I wen't through (7 years ago). I have stayed away since then. Any info is appreciated!

Plenty deep enough. Tugs and small crew boats run through there regularly.

The cut ain't bad, the inlet and outlets are.
There are flowlines on the ship channel side to watch out for and there are shallow areas and pilings on the lake side to watch out for.
Always go slow if you are not sure.
And like Capt. D said, stay in the middle.
