Been in both boats being considered, both are nice, as said the HO is moreless a GUIDE BOAT, wheres as the BLACKJACK is an "all-around" fishing/family boat, many guides have used both boats, the HO is more customizable haha...you also have to look at service for "boat" if needed....ones in Lake Charles and ones in Port Aransas Tx...Cant go wrong with either and the buyer is the only one to make that decision based on his needs for his new rig....good luck and post up some pics of his new rig.

Why do you think its the #1 guide boat on big lake??? Because its a fishing machine!! Guides change them out because they get great deals on Haynie guide program... its all about the warranty

And they can sale the boat and make money after using it for a year or two and keep same note on a brand new boat with new warranty

Black Jack is a great boat but not fishing friendly deck layout....

Do you have anything to support your statement that its the #1 guide boat on big lake? Do more guides use them than any other boat? Do the guides that use them rate them higher than other boats? Did you completely pull this out of your azz?

"The W rule"

If W uses, buys , or creates something it is the best available and all other things are trash.

Yes i would say there are more Guides in Haynie boats than any other brand boat

The two biggest are HBG (runs most all Haynie) Big Lake Guide Service ( runs all Haynie & 1 L&B)

Most of the one or two boat services are running Haynies....So yes I i would say More Haynie Guide boats than any other one brand

And if you ever go on the water you would know this

Personally, I would never buy a boat that was pre-owned by a guide....especially saltwater.

Guess I don't follow the same guide boats you do. I've never noticed. Also, thanks for you personal survey of 2 guide services. W's personal survey proves it that haynies are the best. Everybody to buy one now.

Actually by this time next summer nautic star will be the most common guide boat on big lake. I am personally not a huge fan but with the guide program they have that is the direction this is going.

Chris has gone way up on pricing even to guides and is 16 weeks out on boats.

The last six boats purchased by rod and gun guys were all nautic star.

Including mine.....it is a 1970 and is solid as a rock. It's all about how you take care of it. My podnas dad has a older kenner that they did not take care of. The decks and floor rotted out.
