Default Broadband Access

The Jennings area is served by AT&T so you should be able to get broadband there. I think Iowa and Welsh are served by CenturyTel they also have broadband. I'm not sure who serves Lacassine.

Best thing to do is once you find a piece of land you like. Try to get a physical address and call the local telephone company it'll probably be either AT&T or CenturyTel, give them the address and they can tell you if they offer broadband in that area, and what speeds are available.

I also know you can get Internet VIA some statellite companies, but I wouldn't recommend that, especially if you do online gaming.

I live in between Lake Arther and Gueydan in a "place" considered Klonike. I have satelite internet from a company in Kaplan Kaplan Telephone Company. The Main and only office (ithink its the only office) is located in Kaplan about 20 miles from my house. Im not sure how far they go, but its worth looking into. Never had a problem andbest of all...... when I call I talk to an American who can be at my house working on my problem in less than an hour..Check em out... www.ktconline.net/site.php
