Meaux..that is a good one....gave me a good laugh....was talking to a chef the other day, from a very well known restruarnt in Lafayette ....how people will refuse to order the fish of the day cause it is "Black drum" yet if he fillet it and blacken it with seasoning.....they order it all day long...:*****:

If it's a slow day, I'll keep those puppy drums all day long. It's only the big boys that are nasty. Course, if I'm finding trout or reds, all the black drum get thrown back.

Back in the day, late 90s -when everyone was serving "blakened red fish" alot of it was black drum........... I know first hand
