Default Big Lake Mixed Bag 6/7

Feels like the fish are starting to move into their summer pattern. Fished most of the day and caught fish early in the morning and late afternoon with little action in between. Ran to Johnson's Bayou to find it pretty murky. Got a few bites but no fish. There were pockets of clean water between the jetties and J Bayou. I fished a few where I saw something busting bait and hooked the only double of the day which turned out to be a couple of obese gafftops. Didn't find any water in the lake or outside that excited me. It's fresh to the tasted everywhere in the lake. Black/Chart in the early morning and something mostly Chartreuse once the sun comes up are the color combinations that seem to be working the best. Not much happening on topwater. Caught most on 4" swim baits and Lemonhead Matrix Chad.

That's pretty much a beatdown. With some heavy weights in there. Nice work.
