I’ve never fished by the ferry but have flounder fished the channel
By boat and done well. I’ve had better luck with chartreuse gulp with curly tail. If you can catch some croaker or any kind offish really. Cut them in little chunks and tip with that. You will greatly increase your chances of catching. |

I have had good luck with the darker green with tan belly, the 3" long shrimp with a jig head. You have to pause on the bite a little more but I have always done good with them if the water is darkish.

We usually throw either the chartreuse or pearl white gulp swimming mullet. I've seen waders throwing tandem rigged ones quite a bit. I seem to have better luck fishing a falling tide
