Myself, Longcast and dk42404 fished the SWLA tournament this morning. Man, was it windy! Before the sun rose, caught a coouple specks on top when it was overcast and gray. Once 8:30 rolled around, the wind started blowing bad. We tried to make it south but said f**k that and went toward black lake. Less wind but not a bite. Head to LNG, picked up a red. Would have been a great day to fish had the wind not been blowing so bad. Jason caught the big speck on our boat. Went to the weigh-in, only a couple other anglers were weighing fish. It was a tough day. The red I caught ended up winning the 'Big Red' pot. Made my entry fee and gas money back 3.00lbs exactly.

Big speck went 6.7 I believe, 12.3? won the 3 fish stringer. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Here are some pics.

no idea on how many fished, first place was paid 335 or so. at 60% payout, 560 or so was the total dollars entered. Divide that by 20, 28 registered anglers. At least thats my best guess.
