When I used to use pumps, I shot a Mossberg 835. Great gun especially for the money. I'm all about the auto now. Have shot a Beretta 390 for a few years now and love it. Inexpensive and very reliable. From what I understand it's basically the same gun as the 3901 that they make now.

Benelli nova. Been putting mine through hell for 7 years and still works like its brand new. Also heard the new mossberg is a good gun.

I bought my son a 12 gauge H & R Automatic for $300 from Academy last year. Great gun, the only thing is that you have to take the stock off and flip a piece over to go from Low power to high power shells, very easy to do though. I will be getting me one in the near future.

Every mossberg i have shot i was not happy with. 870s good guns for the money. Very durable. My dad dropped his in the water years ago and it shot just fine the same day.
