shiney hiney colors
I really like the shiney hiney shrimp but I want to get one in an opening night color. THey do not make it. I have made a mold and am going to try melting some old lures in that color. does anyone have any recommendations. If that doesnt work does anyone recommend any types of liquid plastic or what color dyes do i need. thanks.

A true opening night lure is two colors - either through laminating or painting. If you have a laminating plate for your mold then you are fine, but if not i would recommend using a light amount (very, very, light amount) of violet highlight and large silver glitter. You could also try adding purple glitter to get a more purple hue without adding a lot of coloring.
You might be surprised how much a little amount of glitter can affect the outcome of a color. |

I just use the jig heads. Caught this mess on gulp and TTF lures last week.

Nothing wrong with the shiney Hiney heads at all. Really like them along with the hackberry hustlers
