$58,000 plus tt&l and they will cut nothing off the price. I do like the boat though.

That'd be me. My 21 runs 74 light with the SHO - 69 loaded, 2 guys & gear, with rear release well full, casting platforms front and rear, TM and 5 batteries... The stock prop is a Rev 4 and the fastest prop so far is a 26 Bravo1 XS

Actually the ride in the nasty stuff is darn good with the seating from PPI. The Mitigator cushions work really well to minimize the bumps. I had no idea that the Mitigator product existed. See: http://www.ppi-fl.com/mitigator.htm#
That said, I recently ran it during small craft advisories on Lake Borgne that were not fun. Boat did fine. Airborne over every 3rd wave (had to keep it below 26 mph) quartering in very big mixed stuff. Reels under deck had fallen off of some of our fishing rods - it was crazy. We really needed our 27ft cat that day. Borgne was a beast. Anyhow, the same winds in the MRGO blowing 25+ ... just let 'er rip. If it gets bad, I just slow down and if needed run the boat standing like any other 'bay boat'. It has a good V-pad bottom that does well - the boat runs a hair flatter than typical bay boats, letting the V work as needed. Last three weeks I have fished Lafitte, Empire and Rigolets areas and routinely ran 130 miles a day covering duck ponds to open water. I plan to take it to Grand Isle this summer and also hit some of the Fourchon rigs for Mangroves. Hope this helps. BTW, How long you been in LA? In case you missed it >> See: It still makes me laugh. |

Thing about hi speed quality hulls is not so much how they ride in bad conditions, it's more that they are predictable in tough conditions.
The last thing you want is a boat doing stupid uncontrollable stuff in the slop. Yellowfins big to small exit and enter the water in very predictable ways. Same thing with most quality boats. |

Bayouchub - I make the Borgne seas that day peak to trough at 3s +/- big mixed chop after 3 days of south wind. We do a lot of offshore stuff to the Lump and the floaters, so I have been in the snot before. We needed our 27 cat. I know that everyone debates seas though.
Evis - Charlie Armstrong did the aluminum work 281-900-1686. He is in the Kemah area and does a lot of work for Eric Simmons on the SCBs. He is based out of Angel Marine (off of FM 646) that does lots of classic Whaler restoration work. Charlie is very good. |

Here you go. See listing below. Not sure if it is still for sale.
Or call Kevin Barker at Yellowfin and he will make you one - 6 month wait last I heard. http://www.yellowfinyachts.com/contact.html http://www.boattrader.com/listing/20...25587/brochure |
