Default Big Lake_7/31/11

Decided to try Big Lake on Sunday to see if I could beat my first trip a few months ago. The clouds were non-existant and the seas were slick calm the entire day, which made for a much more enjoyable trip than ***-beating I took out of Cypremore Point last weekend. Myself, Jpeff, and his Dad ended up with 17 specks, 15 reds and one flounder. All in all, a pretty fun trip, especially the topwater bite on the skitterwalk first thing in the morning. Reminded me of good times at Cat Island growing up.

Default Nice

Nice catch on BL, used to fish there pretty often when I had a camp in Pecan Island, but had been for about 4years.

We were in the process of transporting them from cooler to cooler and we took all the bags of ice out...trust me, we kept them cold.
