Neither one will make what you call "calling sound better". Wayne will do all the calling. Hes a boss at calling. He taught me and you everything.

Don't have a daisy but do have an original and shortbarrel. Original stays in the gun cabnet and shortbarrel on lanyard. Single reed calls can be soft if you don't try to put 120psi through them. My suggestion if the shortbarrel in acrylic Shawn but both of mine were presents.

Those single reed arkansas style calls have a J frame instead of a wedge and block. J frame calls sound good at first but they take a lot of maintance toe keep them up. You have to change the corks after about 3 days of calling and moisture makes them stick. The old double reeds built on the La. style are hard to beat every day. Richntone, like almost all top end call makers have a line of calls built with a wedge n block. Some of them sound better than a lot of poeple think. And like Raliegh Newman used to say "Loud callin don't scare ducks, Bad callin scares ducks"

I've had them all but I'm blowing an Echo Diamondwood. I'ts a double reed call that you can make some good soft calls with. You can usually find it behind the counter at Academy for about $45. I have a duck commander commander in chief, a HS bill collector, a duck commander teal call and a whistle in my box but I find myself blowing this echo. Check it out if you want a different call but don't want to lay down the cash.
