i always figured if u don't get a reaction strike by hitting them on the nose, it becomes a "scare 'em or dare 'em" bait, meaning it scares the lil ones off and dares the big ones to eat it!

Eyes were tearing up this morning.
Tears were freezing.
Eyes were hurting, nose was running.
I felt your pain.

I fished out of White Oak yesterdy. I found bass schooling and caught bass in any tree laying in the water. I caught most all of them on a rogue in blue/chrome and orange. They were fat and full of two inch shad. I did not see or hear any hunters. Is anyone hunting the river and doing any good?
