I did. Caught 2 there sat. I was the only one dumb enough to make that swim to the rocks.

You get a tip from Saturday supposedly then wait until Sunday when you know the conditions changed to post it. The first time on your little Internet life you gave up a spot, that's not questionable at all. Just don't waste peoples time and gas with false reports, a box shot and not saying a word is better than bad information. I'm done, have a good Sunday. As usual members exercise caution when dealing with W.

I went with a friend today and didn't have to take off work or pay gas, thankfully. Also, had tossed around the idea the past few days and was gonna go. Lil Fla happened to be where my friends camp was, so that's where we fished. I was fine not catching a thing and enjoying the morning.

But, I can't see how it was green the day before and 7 hours of a max 8mph south wind could have dirtied a few days of north wind to several miles out. I can understand a stained clarity, but less than an inch of visibility?

We all know you want people out of big lake. Why not post the same report and claim prien or lake Charles? A lot of people could have saved a lot of time and money, might have caught a fish too.

The beach is only fishable a couple times a year, and when people have a chance to fish ways they usually don't get to, and read a "report" to boot, they're gonna take that chance.

Call them potlickers or pilgrims, but a lot of people enjoy going to the beach but usually can't justify the time off or money for gas. But when good family weather on top of "good" fishing is reported, they won't hesitate. This is sportsman's paradise.

Let this be a lesson to newcomers.

If you read it I said I had a great day. I'm one of those office fisherman who enjoys getting out. I just feel bad for the people who drove from up north and from lafayette area..

They know now to take his reports with a grain of salt. Many of us learned that a long time ago.

I know that's fishing. Just hard to believe your report as serious with all your past on fire "spots"

"beach us only fishable a couple times a year" ... yesterday and today ... lol
the beach is a lot better in Aug and Sep when we start getting high pressure systems that bring a predominant north wind

For "office fisherman" how many times has the weekend (usual days off) yielded weather good for beach fishing this year
