Default South Toledo ??

Has anybody been recently ? Taking the family to the lake this weekend (South Toledo State Park). Any reports or advice ? ( especially with the looming front).

Thanks in advance.

Default South Toledo State Park - 10/1-10/3

Thursday found them biting in ~20ft of water. Cruised until something showed up on the sonar and stopped to check it out. Caught a few on 5XD crank bait and a few on Speed Craw. (Water was 78-80 deg, wind was blowing mud plumes off the points) Only one keeper.

Friday- Morning - Started around the Louisiana Islands and rode until I found the grass line in 14-15 feet. Picked up a few on the grass line with 10.5" Ol'Monsters but the wind picked up (trolling motor was continually coming out of the water due to waves) so I went back to a cove near the launch and found a 2.5 lber in some grass around 7-8ft with a spinner.

Friday-Evening - Took dad out for a little before dark and he picked up 2 with a rattle trap and I found a few more with a spinner.

Saturday Morning it was very cool out and still choppy. My wife and I couldn't get a bite.
Saturday Afternoon I took my parents out and we only found one with the sonar around humps and brush piles.
Saturday Night my wife and I fished until about 10 with no bites.

Overall very windy but still caught some !
