That's one of the video's I was referencing in a recent post about a video that claimed to be the "best ever". David Mangum is part of the World Angling group and they produce some real high quality stuff. There's a few other videos out there focused on redfish on top with a fly rod that are equally sick.

What kind of fly rod did you order? A high end skiff is really nice, but not totally necessary, I do that stuff out of a Carolina Skiff. I tend to do it places other than Hopedale though, come fall all the darn carpetbagger guides from Florida show up down there in droves and bring their crappy Florida guide attitude with them.

TFO Pro II, I was joking about the skiff. I would rather just have a custom surface drive built. Too many oysters for all that pretty gel coat work.

TFO makes a good product at good prices and their service is top notch. I've got 3 TFO rods. I'm not sure where you ordered from but Larry Offner at Green Trout Fly Shop on Perkins Rd is a great guy.

I had a gift card to Cabelas so I ordered it online. I did quite a bit of digging before I decided on TFO, but for 25 bucks the warranty cant be beat for the price. Now I'm just waiting to order a reel.

I've been planning on stopping by Green Trout just haven't gotten around to it.
