Default 1-23-10 Reds Big Lake

Went out on the water this morning and caught a 2-man limit of reds. All fish were perfect eaters... between 16''-20'' We left at 9:00 a.m. because the wind was howling out of the South. I felt we did good enough and trout would be impossible to find. All fish were caught on white swimming mullet while working the east bank out of the wind. They started off small (12 inches) and then we hit a school of them where we mopped up.

Good catch! Those reds are so thick in big lake the only way not to catch them is to stay home. We went this afternoon and got hammered by the wind.

Evans- How did your boat handle that kind of wave action? I was able to run 30 mph comfortably going there against the wind... but got pounded and wet on way back with the wind.
