Default Premium Fishing Reports - Non SC

I have been approached by a guide service/fishermen to find out if our members would be interested in a premium service that would provide at least weekly and sometimes daily reports on what, when, where and how fish are being caught in Big Lake. He/they would charge $25 per month for this service.

Any interest?

Good thing in a way, but then again this poor guide will have pilgrims all over him from here on out if this happens. Nice gesture but really not a good idea IMO
and I have to agree with Meaux on this one . . . .

Pay the due's ; Anybody can be an I see ya fisherman. Really nice jesture on all parts but come on.If ya can afford to buy the boat and all the tackle surely you would be willing to spend the time to access the opportunity on your own.

LOL..Im sure that would not make him popular

There was or maybe still a person who does this on big lake.....He would charge like $60 a month and give detail reports from the lake, I know two guys who used his service

For one you can tell anyone where the fish are but you can not catch them for them...You have to be able to catch

I read a few of his reports from his service\

Example it would say..

Today bite was better on incoming tide on the south end of the lake around long point and 9 ,mile
Trout were being caught on live shrimp and opening night sand eels under 1/4 oz jig heads

Reds were on south bank and west cove areas

avoid north east and east side for next few days

You can see birds from one end of that lake to the other. Why would you need someone to tell you where the fish are?

I don't know about a paid service, but I have thought for awhile that the reports section should only be viewable by registered and signed in members. I really think that would increase the number of registered members. Everytime I post a report, I see twice as many 'guests' than registered members reading it. They should have to sign up and register to see the good stuff!

I also agree 100%
As for the paid service I'd say no. I'm having more fun learning BL on my own and with friends, but thanks anyway.
