Default Henderson still alive

Fished Henderson today before the front hit.
Boated 20 bass on plastics, nothing big but good action once it warmed up. Ck out the first 2 pics of this bass that had a 5 inch shad in it's mouth and still ate my bait. Just like a coonass at a seafood buffet.

As always, good catch and report. How's the water look? A few weeks back it was low, clear and full of grass. But the bite was good with a couple of real nice fish mixed in.

I've caught a lot of fish down the dog leg canal... the fish really stack up on the launch close to where you're fishing... right on the concrete...

Water looked much better on the west side closer to the levee. It was real murky on the east side close to the public launch. Fish are really stacked up, when you get one there's usually more in the same place.
Fishing should stay good until the river starts rising.

I justed talked myself into going back out there after lunch. Still had the yak and gear in the truck could not stand to unload it and let it sit in garage. All I need is to put some Coor's Lights in the cooler.
