Nice. I just got my 8 y/o yellow lab bathed at PETCO yesterday so I could bring him inside cause it's so damn hot outside. Now my little girl is telling me she wants a small dog that can be hers. I told her maybe for XMas. But it's gonna be a lab and it ain't gonna be small for long. I hunt mine so much in the marsh he is getting arthritis in his elbows. I don't wanna hunt him much longer. Maybe 2-3 more seasons. Need to start getting my replacement ready.

No doubt! Give them PLENTY of chew toys and bones. Had a black lab for years and never could get her not to chew everything.

Dogs are like kids. If you give them free run of the house, they will bring it down in a hurry. But a watchful eye and guidance will minimize the damage and possibly change that attitude.

Hunting season???????? With that pedigree you better be looking at more that hunting with him. Dec-May we can give them a good start, got my bird boys lined up. Now, if I can teach them how to shoot a flyer we'll be in bidness. Both of our dogs have excellant Derby birthdays so maybe they will work out and we can hit some together.
