man im religous with my costas....i have 2 pairs both 580 lens one is hammerheads (mah favorite) with the blue lens..and the others are black fins with the green lens..my hammerheads cracked about 3 weeks ago so i sent them to costa and have been wearing my blackfins with the green lens..and i can honestly say that the blue lens is all around better in any kinda water...im on the water more than most average people and weather its 1 foot or 10000 feet blue is the way to go...maybe its just my personal preference but thats wat i think....you wont be unhappy with costa del mar its the best u can get on the water...and them harpoons are nice.

I wear ballasts for just everyday. I have a pair of permits that just came out this year. I love them. They are kind of bigger sized frames but they cover your face well and are very comfortable. I also have a pair of turbines. I have a buddy that had hammerheads they are nice but his wife ran them over and costa wouldn't cover it. I have another buddy with blackfins and they are cool too. I actually almost bought some blackfins with 580s brand new on eBay other day for $160! Look on eBay they have great prices!

i have the turbines with 580 green lenses. have tried both blue and green on the water and i personally cant tell the difference. but the difference between the 580's and 400's is night and day to me. i wear my 580's all day till i go to bed rain low light any condition i can see better with them on. the 580's are the best glass i have ever put on my face. i paid 230 at a local shop here. most of them off ebay arent licensed and id rather support local guys than some chink from china.

I am addicted to mine, I wear them even when it's cloudy b/c it cuts the glare so well. I like the green mirror but they tend to sunburn your face faster with the mirror tint.

I had problems with delamination but now I only clean mine with water and a tshirt = no problems

if you can get another pair 60% off let me know my order will be in

I am getting old. I wear anything with the cheaters on the bottom so I can see to tie a lure on my line.
Last time I went fishing, my bilge light came on and when I looked back at the bilge outlet, my glasses came off, in the ship channel, running 45 mph.
Talk about hard to tie a knot in 12 lb. green mono without them. Sun killed me too.
I am going to start leaving an extra pair of cheapo's in the boat just for that...

Hustler how u like the blackfins? i got the hammerheads and love them. was just looking at the blackfins to have to wear around with the silver lenses. The only problem i find with mine is that the hinges on mine leave a green spot on my face after a long sweaty day.

depends on what fishing you do most.

Green lens inshore, blue lens offshore. I have a pair of each for just such a reason. Blue lens is better for brighter days in general (what I wear daily). But I can see much deeper into the water on Big Lake with my green lens.

The green lens is a green reflective glass over the vermillion lens.
The blue lens is same over the standard black/gray lens.
