Default Big Lake Saturday

The winds are going to cooperate. The temperature is rising. The freshwater is coming down the river. Two out of three ain't bad. I am going. I am planning to work the south end of the lake. Any suggestions for Saturday? Areas, Lures, etc?

Default Saturday Fishing BL

I am going Saturday also and will try south part of Lake. Is there any green in the water yet? I went 2 weeks ago and water was really stained in the lake. Looks like "W" smoked them Thursday. I am open for suggestions, but I throw popping corks a lot with vudu shrimp and do ok. If conditions are good I will throw topwaters, but have only fished once this year for a couple hours and couldn't get much going in the stained water.

I hope a regular will respond.

I can't make it out this weekend, but if I could, I'd buy some shrimp if available, hit the south end of the lake on the incoming tide, and keep moving as needed.
If it just ain't happenin, find some moving water near a bank/point/channel mouth and try bouncing a gulp off btm for flounder.
I'm still learning, and don't consider myself qualified to give too much advice, but I know the feeling of heading out blind and it's helpful to have some starting point. Any plan is better than no plan at all, even if it's the wrong one, you'll learn from it.
Post a report let us know how the water is.
