Default Salty Cajun Tourny Weekend!!

What a way to spend the weekend! Had a great time meeting everyone and hanging out! Good two days of fishing also and I came home with a new Rod and Reel to add to my collection! H&H Rod with a Curado 50e!
Me and Donnie (Big Kahunaz) set sail first thing Friday morning in search of some big trout, first few spots produced fish but nothing real big so we moved on and next stop it was on! We hooked up with 3 fish over 6 pounds!! Headed in early and went settle in at the camp and prepare for the festivities!! Had a ball Friday night but drank a little more than I wanted lol and southern151s band was jamming out some good tunes so we kept slingin beers down woke up Saturday and was feeling rough lol did what we had to do and headed to the lake, got out and the tide, wind, and conditions sucked for a while then we started gettin some fish in the boat boom 5.3lb trout, look back Donnie is bowed up, then my cousin hooked up had some flounder and reds in the mix and then smack the last trout of the day was hooked up, and she was a good one I could feel it I saw her and new right away that I was about to brake that 6lb wall, and there she was weighing in at 7.2 pounds couldn't have asked for a better weekend!! Got back to the camp cleaned some fish and started heatin up da grease(Thanks Micah and Lucas!! They cleaned the fish and helped me fry) Beer wasnt quite flowing like they were Friday but they went down lol had a good ol time with everyone and thanks to all of y'all that brought something and helped out!
We need to do this more often tournament or no tournament just get together for some random shananagains!!

HELL of a weekend!! Packin the bags and headed east to Florida to go hit the beach and do a little fishing tomorrow !!

Wow, nice trout. Did you catch them out of the boat or waded for them?
