Grass was horrible last time we went, weightless flukes is the only thing that worked well...never caught any sac-a-lait, my cousin said that some of the cabins are nice and some are trashed bad. We went with campers. Problly be out there this weekend sometime to fish for an afternoon.

When I was younger we spent just about every weekend during the summer there camping with the family. This was back in the mid 80's. My dad would catch good fish out there. There is a cove across from the dock in the campground it is very shallow in the front part but gets deeper in the back. This is the old creek bed before they put the dam in. I took the family there two years ago and it was not what I remember it being. Kind of trashy. Lots of campers stay there year round. Golf carts and loud music everywhere. I have never been in the cabins. Not sure if I would go back again.

yea i used to manage a camper rental place in Lafayette and the people that would rent the campers to go there were prolly democrats. and they would often lose their damage deposit def looked like they go up there to gather and party
