FlagUS Toledo Bend This weekend

Fished toledo South side in Indian Creek and Buck creek. Wind not too bad for most part. Fished bass for a while friday evening with only 4 or so fish caught. Had a lot of blow ups on Ribbits.

Fished bass Saturday AM with no luck. Switched to bream fishing and spot fished the beds. managed around 100 bream saturday am and a while in the pm. Mangaed 5 bass around 7-7:30 saturday evening on ribbits and chrome rattletrap in the treetops and on the bank over grassbeds.

Fished for sac a lait under a green light in 25' of water saturay night and caught 16 big ole slabs.

Fished bream again sunday am and managed around 100 or so. Bream were medium sized chinquapin, goggle eye, and blue gill with around 20 or so big slabs.

Water was crystal clear all throughout the south end.

Overall had an awesome weekend with 2 of my best friends and one of em's 2 young boys.

I see you live in Da Bluff. I do too. We have a camp on the texas side just across the dam. Really love that area. Lots of coves to sneak out of the wind. Water almost always clear and always has grass. Saw tons of mallard ducks, canada geese with gosslings, wood ducks and 3 very large (~8') gators in a cove off of Indian creek.

left the dang camera at home this weekend so no pics of fish. all were released unharmed into either the lake from where they came or my ice chest to later be fileted and consumed!!!!!!!!!!! Nothing like eating fish that were swimming less than an hour ago!!!!!

mill creek can be really good. sometimes if we're fishin six mile and the bite slows, we'll run down to mill.. good area. here's a little map link. it has lots of names and locations marked on it, hope it helps. http://www.toledobend.com/partsoflakemap.php
