Default Louisiana Weather Question

I'm trying to talk to the wife into making a trip to LA at the end of May. She is interested, but her main concern is how hot it will be. I figured there wouldn't be a better place to ask than here. Typically, what kind of temperatures would the Alexandria/Pineville area see around Memorial Day?

DEPENDS WHAT TIME OF THE DAY YOU COMING.

Morning might be in the cool 50's climb up to about 85 at 2 with 55% humidity, sun goes down and its back to mid 60's...... wake up with frosted out windhields from the dew and 90% humidity

That may or may not have had an influence in my suggestion of May.

I know better than that.

Thanks for all of the info. It sounds like it isn't much worse than it is here in June, so maybe that will make it a go.

Any suggestions for fishing in the Pineville area? I'd really like to go after the trinity, I think that's what you call it, but I don't know if I'll be able to make it to the coast.

Pineville is freshwater, you would have to hit the coast a couple hours south to get on some slatwater fish.

In May we have 2 types of temperatures... HOT and DAMN HOT! But we also have a saying in Louisiana. "If you don't like the weather, wait 15 minutes."

I like red, trout and large mouth... Fishin lafitte with a spoon, never changed lures and was my favorite day fishing yet!

Looks like I have the wife talked into making the trip. If we're able to get to the coast is there anyone here that might take us out for a fishing trip?
